Menu Plan Monday
September 22, 2008
Okay, I’m a little early, but this is my first MPM post–hey there, to anybody who got here through orgjunkie.
I’ve been meal planning for a little over a year now without realizing there was a whole community of ladies (and gentlemen) doing it right along with me. I love sitting around on a Sunday morning with a grocery flier and a week’s worth of dinners to figure out. Everything is delicious at that point, you know?
Here’s what’s on the menu for this week:
Monday: Pumpkin Soup with giant croutons
Tuesday: Crockpot Beef Stew (I’m using a new recipe here, so I’ll let you know how it goes)
Wednesday: I’m sitting, so Leprechaun will probably order
Thursday: Ina’s parmesan chicken with rice and roasted grape tomatoes (this one’s the favorite. Like most of the Barefoot Contessa’s recipes, it’s a total knockout).
So what are you guys eating this week?

Heeeheee, I don’t know how many posts there were when you go on, but there are 226 of us now!
I have to sit here with diet recipe books, rather than coupons and offers. Tend not to use them much anyway, the UK doesn’t go for them in as big a way as the US does, abnd we tend to find that by buying the supermarket own brand we still save even when a brand name is on offer.

Zoe, I LOVE looking through cookbooks–even diet ones! I always get a big heavy stack at the library and have to lug them home on this bus. I’m a sucker for photos.
Carol–Hi from one newbie to another! Thanks for coming over

It is always great to start new simple habits that make such a huge difference in the home! I don’t always stick to my MPM schedule but I definitely think about dinner a whole lot more often.
I just start at Org. Junkie last week. See ya around!

Hi Jessy,
You know, I think the hardest thing about MPM for my is overcoming the guilt when I don’t stick to it–as I inevitably don’t. I’m getting better at going with the flow.
Thanks for stopping by!
